Lock Contents

After manually updating the contents of a box, you may want to lock the contents of that box so that it is not updated during a data refresh. This is useful if your underlying data source does not contain the correct information for one or more boxes.

To lock/unlock the contents of a box during data refresh:

1        Select the boxes that you want to lock.

2        Click the Box Layout tool  or select Box Properties from the Format menu. The Box Properties dialog box is displayed.

3        Click the Advanced tab.

4        Check or uncheck the ôLock contents during data refreshö checkbox.

5        Click OK.
